EpiTrain is a knitted elbow support designed to help reduce pain and relieve tension in the muscles on the outside of the elbow associated with "epicondylitis", "tennis elbow" or "golfer's elbow". The support incorporates 2 anatomically contoured silicone inserts surrounding the medial and lateral elbow bones (epicondyles) and lying over the flexor and extensor muscles.
The silicone inserts are specifically designed to leave the elbow bones pressure-free and provide intermittent compression to the soft tissue of the joint. This leads to increased circulation, aiding in the resorption of swelling and edema. In addition, the inserts help promote proprioception, heightening sensory awareness in the elbow for increased joint stabilization.
The special knitted compression fabric with its built-in visco-elastic pads stimulates the muscles as you move, aiding in the healing process. The graduated compression at the edges prevents constriction of circulation, while the lightweight, breathable knit will not retain heat and is completely machine washable.
