Bauerfeind RhizoLoc Thumb Stabilizer
The Bauerfeind RhizoLoc thumb splint provides quick relief from painful overuse syndrome. It can be worn during work or sports to limit motion in the painful thumb joint. The adjustable Velcro closure pulls the thumb back to effectively restrict joint motion. RhizoLoc stabilizes the thumb saddle and metacarpo-phalangeal joint after thumb joint injuries, such as tears or pulls to the collateral ligaments ("skier's thumb"), or for indications of osteoarthritis (arthrosis of first carpometacarpal joint) or irritation. It can be used to treat "Technology" Thumb, skier’s thumb, gamekeeper’s thumb, osteoarthritis, chronic arthritis affecting the thumb and joint, and irritation in the region of the saddle and first metacarpophalangeal joints of the thumb, as well as collateral ligament injuries. Individually shapeable aluminum in the strap ensures maximum stability of the thumb saddle and joint. The splint is made with soft, seamless, lightweight, breathable, latex-free material with air pores that allow air to circulate so the skin can breathe. The thumb can still be used for grasping and daily activities can continue uninterrupted. It can also be worn at night with no compression by loosening the straps. This product is made in Germany with the highest quality standards.
