The GenuTrain A3 orthopedic brace is suitable for treating various types of knee complaints: e.g. osteoarthritis, irritated knee joint, complex knee pain or misalignment of the kneecap (patellar lateralization). Thanks to the anatomically shaped pad integrated in the elastic knit fabric (elastic pressure pad), the support gives the joint and muscles a targeted, healing intermittent compression massage on every movement.

Viscoelastic Pad: - The integrated viscoelastic pad prevents the kneecap from slipping, combats pain and massages the surrounding tissue. Edemas and effusions can be relieved more quickly.

Washing & Care: Bauerfeind's products are made of high-quality materials, which enables long, moisture-balancing and easy-care use. The product is washing machine suitable at a maximum of 86º F on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent without fabric softener. It is recommended to wash the product with similar colors and in a washing net. Ironing should also be completely avoided, and the product should only be air-dried.

Ensure Correct Fit and Sizing: With your knee slightly bent, use the center of the kneecap as your starting point and measure 5 1/2" up your thigh. Measure around the thigh for circumference. Using the center of the kneecap for the starting point, measure 4 3/4" down your calf. Measure around the calf for the circumference. Make sure the measuring tape is not too tight or too loose. Refer to sizing chart & video for correct sizing.

Regarding the Effectiveness of the product: The "A3” stands for Anti, Arthrosis, Algos. Which means "against joint pain" in Latin. It is beneficial for injuries or pain on the inside of the knee. The three-dimensional fabric is constructed to conform to the natural shape of the knee, so the knee is still mobile but gets the stability it needs. The support has a pad inside that prevents the kneecap from slipping.
